Introducing another way for you to help the environment.
Switching incandescent light bulbs to compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL) can save up to 75% in energy consumption and last much longer. Disposal of these bulbs is important due to the small amount of mercury that they contain. Help keep these bulbs out of the landfill by dropping them off at one of our disposal units. We will ensure that these bulbs are properly disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way at NO COST to you!
Drop off locations:
Please bring used CFL bulbs in a sealed plastic bag in case of accidental breakage.
NOTE: Recycling unit only for CFL bulbs, no incandescent bulbs or electronics please. Free electronic drop-off bins are located at the Innisfil Recreation Centre and the Stroud Arena.
