The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program appreciates that when a business is making choices between different equipment options the desired choice is for the most efficient solution; but for financing reasons or timing reasons other choices may be made. We would like to influence the decision in favour of the most electricity efficient ones.
The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program focuses on improvements in the areas of lighting, motors, heating ventilation , air conditioning (HVAC) and the overall electricity systems.
The ERIP program provides incentives for commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural customers who are interested in implementing energy efficient changes in their business.
Timelines
- This is a limited time offer and applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
- Project application deadline December 31, 2010
- Prescriptive applications must be mailed within 30 days of installation.
- Pre-approved Custom or Prescriptive projects must be completed prior to December 1, 2011. Projects must be completed within 12 months of approval.
